* Note: The Topeka-Auburn course does not meet USATF record requirements because of the separation between the start and finish. However, because of its net elevation gain and the nature of the course, we believe that it does NOT provide an advantage to runners so have decided to accept it for the Kansas honor roll, as did Jack Crook, the previous record keeper, as long as it meets USATF course certification standards.
