RunLawrence's annual social/potluck was held at the Lakeview Clubhouse built in the 1980s. Thanks to Lakeview Club member John Frydman for offering the location. It was once a speakeasy.

Another small but successful race on the Lawrence levee - the River Rat 4 Mile. Congratulations to John Huchingson for setting the M80-84 state record. And kudos to Jackie Wilsom, Kristen Wiens, Gregory Hattan, Larry Rink, Dee Boeck, Don Whittemore and Tom Stone for making the state honor roll. The fastest time for the day was the 23:02 posted by Christopher Stone who will be running for KU this fall.
