• because earthbank description was 0.5 meter and correct earthbank was 1.0 m all punches at either earthbank are accepted.
• AQ was a tree root across the stream.
• Peter Gogol had the strategy of not going to any micro controls.  However I was not clear that the EZ control was obligatory and he skipped that as well.  Peter thus has been given 2 min penalty for each micro control and 4 min penalty for not going to EZ.  He should have gone to EZ, and then back to GO before finishing.
• David Welsh was the only one who punched nearly everything he could see.  I can see now why there could be a penalty for punching everything! 
• Eric Buckley (MSL) seemed to have punched EG in the 8 th box, did he start on the EG,EK loop by mistake when instead should have gone from EZ straight to GO?  Or is there another story?
• I do believe, that as I was taking photographs, Pete Curtis ran from west of the tennis courts, past the GO control to the EG control.  Did he almost go through the finish and then realize he'd forgotten to punch at EG?

Route choices:

• I saw some take EK to GO from the right (Nancy, Lisa) and many more take it by going to the left.
• I noticed that going into the micro a few, like Tom Carr, JP Ingebrigtsen, and Sharon Crawford went more northwesterly, whereas others followed the tennis courts and used the trail head.  I wonder what it was like for those that approached ?1 from the north going south.
• Sharon told me her route from EP to EQ was pretty much straight, using trails to get to the power line.  She said she was aware of others that used the large reentrant to move towards EQ.  I wonder, did anyone take the road to the left?  Mike Eglinski tried three choices... road to left, near straight, and going by trails as much as possible a bit to right.  The latter was the fastest and the former the slowest.
