RRCA COACHING CERTIFICATION PROGRAM IS COMING TO LAWRENCE!

(from Gary Henry)
It's not up on the RRCA website yet -- will be in another week or so -- but it is official!

The Lawrence Trail Hawks are hosting the RRCA Level I Coaching Certification Program at Genesis South Health Club, Sat. and Sun., May 19-20. Normally, you have to spend travel and lodging $$ to get this course, since it's usually held in regional hub cities like Houston, Chicago or L.A. -- this is a real opportunity to have it inLawrfence.

Tuition -- totally worth it -- is $325. To get certified, you'll have to pass a tough, but open-book online test after the course, and get your CPR/First Aid certification independent of the course. Registration for the Trailhawks-hosted course will be open to the public, and these courses, limited to 35 entrants each, fill up fast. If you go to the RRCA page for the course, you'll see FULL, FULL, FULL for many of the 2018 offerings. How does "Coach Your Name" sound? This is a huge opportunity to expand your running knowledge by a quantum leap, and possibly turn doing and sharing what you love into an earner. Many do just that.
