Perfect weather to start off Thanksgiving Day. Around 1200 people ran or walked the 5K and lots of kids did the 1K fun run. Thanks to Jerry Jost for these shots. Look for more photo coverage later this weekend. Full results

Reminder: the early registration deadline ends this Friday for the Thanksgiving Day Run. Price goes up Saturday and the discounted price for families of three or more also ends Saturday. Thanks to everyone who's already signed up. The Brooks gloves are now getting the special printing at Happy Shirts. The gloves will work great this winter for all but those coldest days.

We still need course marshals if you can help. A chance to see all your friends as they come by and keeping them safe. See the volunteer page for all the volunteer jobs that still be filling. Then contact us at runlawrence@gmail.com.

Annette Pierce (Baldwin City) models the wreath given to winners of the Double Crown for posting the best female times at the Maple Leaf Run and today's Billy Mills 10K. Alex Beecher (Lawrence) was male double crown winner. Results from the Bill Mills 10K.
