- Kansas Champs (experienced) and
- Score O (beginners)

Registration: Pre-registration is required for the Kansas Champs course.
Score O participants are also encouraged to pre-register.

Pre-registration entry deadline: Dec. 5, 2011
Pre-registration entry fee:
- Individuals: $10 per map
- Groups or families: $10 first map, $3 per additional map
- KU ID: $5 per map
Race day entry fee: $12 per map
Schedule (on 10 Dec 11):
Registration: 11:30 am to 12:40 pm
Beginner’s Instruction: 12:15 pm
First Start 1 pm; last start 1:45 pm

KU Memorial Union, 1301 Jayhawk Blvd, level 4 lobby (across the street from the art museum)
KS Champs Meet Notes
- Champs course is 3K, all on campus. No woods.
- The beginners course will be a one hour score event.
- Warm up allowed any where north of the union.
- Start and finish will be just outside the 4th floor of the union (on Jayhawk Blvd).
- Clothes may be left at the registration table (at your own risk. No valuables please).
- KU basketball game is 2:15 against Ohio State, expect heavy traffic around town (fortunately on other side of campus. Also a scholastic chess tournament at the union all day, so parking lots may be full.
Awards: Awards ceremony will be inside the union.
General: to the top three males & females in two categories:40 and under; 41 or older (age =
2011 minus birth year)
KS Champs Awards for top KS finishers (male and female, in two categories)
(eligibility: must have lived in KS for at least 3 months)
